Educational workshop for agriculturalists

Within the “Eco-friendly water management against extreme weather conditions in the cross-border area” - ECOWAM” project in Temerin, the second educational workshop was held in Temerin on 15th March 2018. The workshop was aimed at agriculturalists and all stakeholders from the municipality of Temerin and Vrbas, which by their actions could contribute to the improvement of the quality of water bodies. Some important things around us

The start of the "Eco-friendly water management against extreme weather conditions in the cross-border area – ECOWAM" project was officially marked in Szeged on 30 November 2017, while an educational workshop for local self-government representatives was held in Temerin on 12 December 2017. The main goal of the workshop was to inform the representatives of the local self-governments of Temerin and Vrbas about the main project activities, since most of the activities would be implemented on the territory of those municipalities.

The "Ecological management of waters against extreme weather conditions in the border region - ECOWAM" project was approved within the framework of the Interreg - IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia. The total value of the project amounts to EUR 1,758,447.43, while the EU co-financing amounts to EUR 1,499,227,805. The project is implemented by the Lower Tisza District Water Directorate - ATIVIZIG from Hungary and PWMC "Vode Vojvodine" Novi Sad and the "European Affairs" Fund of AP Vojvodina.

BABECA strategic project opening conference

The opening conference to mark the beginning of the implementation of “The complex water management development of the area of the Baja-Bezdan Canal – BABECA” strategic project, being co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia, was held at the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina on 6 December 2017. The partnership in the project, with the overall amount of allocated funding EUR 8,699,537.91, of which the amount of the EU (IPA) contribution is EUR 7,394,607.21, consists of the Lower Danube Valley Water Directorate (Hungary), Public Water Management Company "Vode Vojvodine" Novi Sad (Serbia) and European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (Serbia).

Presentation of the “EXploitation of Different Energy sources for GREen Energy production - X DEGREE“ project, co-financed by the European Union within the Interreg IPA CBC Programme Croatia-Serbia.

The project is aimed at the promotion and improvement of the use of various forms of renewable energy sources in the cross-border area, raising the energy independence of public utility companies, improvement of the use of biomass in the biogas production plants and raising public awareness about the energy potential in renewable energy sources.

The project is being implemented by the University of Novi Sad, Public Utility Company “Vodokanal” Sombor, European Affairs Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Vinkovci Water Supply and Sewerage Ltd. And Agricultural Institute Osijek.
