Award for Excellence for the STOP FIRES project

The project “Strengthening Fire Protection Organizations – STOP FIRES”, which the Fund for European Affairs and Development of the AP Vojvodina is successfully implementing together with partners PE “Vojvodinašume”, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia (Emergency Situations Sector) and the company KEFAG from Hungary, has won the Award for Excellence in the DKMT (Danube-Kris-Moris-Tisa) region.
The award was received by Ognjen Dopuđ, Director of the Fund, and the award ceremony was organized at the tri-border between Serbia, Hungary and Romania, in the village of Kibekhaza, Hungary.
The STOP FIRES Fund project has been recognized as one of the key ones in the field of climate change adaptation and risk prevention in the cross-border area of Bačka and Bács-Kiskun counties. The project is financed from the Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary-Serbia Programme 2021–2027.
