SAGITTA Project Opening Conference

On January 28, 2026, the opening conference of SAGITTA will take place at the Science and Technology Park in Novi Sad. The project represents a significant initiative within the Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary–Serbia 2021–2027 cross-border cooperation program, aiming to strengthen collaboration and joint development between the two countries.

SAGITTA project aims to strengthen cooperation between Serbia and Hungary in the fields of agriculture, education, and innovation by developing joint capacities, promoting knowledge exchange, and applying modern solutions. Through these activities, the project seeks to support the sustainable development of rural areas and enhance human resources in the agricultural sector.

The project partners are:

  1. Pro Scientia Naturae Foundation, Serbia (Lead Partner)
  2. Fund for European Affairs and Development of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Serbia
  3. Mórahalom Városi Önkormányzat, Hungary
  4. Alföldi Agrárszakképzési Centrum, Hungary

The total budget of the project amounts to €3,461,821.20.

During the opening conference, each partner will present themselves to the audience, highlighting their role in SAGITTA as well as its main objectives and anticipated outcomes. The event will gather institutional representatives, experts, and members of the public, fostering early engagement, broad support, and strong visibility for the project.
