About the fund<\/h3>

Fund for European Affairs and Development of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina<\/strong><\/p>

The Fund for European Affairs and Development of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina was established by the Decision of the Provincial Assembly (\u201cOfficial Gazette of AP Vojvodina\u201d, Nos. 13\/2009, 2\/2010, and 55\/2024) as the legal successor of the European Affairs Fund and the Office for European Affairs of the Executive Council of AP Vojvodina.<\/p>

The Fund was established to monitor, study and implement European integration processes and build, develop and strengthen the institutional capacities of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, with the aim of faster inclusion of the Republic of Serbia in the main European political and economic trends, and achieving economic, scientific, educational and cultural cooperation with territorial communities and other forms of autonomy of other states within the framework of the foreign policy of the Republic of Serbia.<\/p>

The main activities of the Fund\u00a0are professional work related to:<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Coordination of the activities of provincial institutions in the European integration processes, cooperation and coordination with local self-government units from the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, as well as cooperation with territorial communities and other forms of autonomy of other states within the framework of the foreign policy of the Republic of Serbia;<\/li>
  2. Activities related to the use of European structural and development funds, as well as technical assistance programs of the EU and other countries, and administrative and operational tasks related to future strategic projects and monitoring their implementation in accordance with the law, other general and planning acts;<\/li>
  3. Coordination with the activities of bodies and organizations of the Republic of Serbia responsible for European integration and cooperation with regions of other countries;<\/li>
  4. Activities to strengthen the process of interregional cooperation and development of the AP of Vojvodina and cooperation with other organizations, institutions, bodies and institutions dealing with European integration issues, as well as cooperation with regions and institutions of other countries dealing with activities of importance for the development of the AP of Vojvodina;<\/li>
  5. Cooperation with scientific institutions and higher education and school institutions in areas within its jurisdiction; cooperation with scientific institutions and faculties in areas that are the subject of the Fund’s activities;<\/li>
  6. Publishing activities in the field of European integration and interregional development and cooperation with regions of other countries, establishment and management of a professional library and documentation center;<\/li>
  7. Organization and implementation of education, through seminars, round tables, forums, lectures, etc.;<\/li>
  8. Promotion of common European values \u200b\u200band ideas in the media, as well as promotion of the economic, natural and other potential of the AP of Vojvodina;<\/li>
  9. Participation in the preparation of proposals for planning acts and measures for the balanced economic, commercial and regional development of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, their monitoring and evaluation of implementation, analysis and provision of data and information for the needs of other provincial bodies and organizations;<\/li>
  10. Keeping records of strategic projects in the areas of economic, financial and regional development of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina;<\/li>
  11. Coordination of affairs related to the Office of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Brussels at the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union;<\/li>
  12. Performs other tasks as determined by the Statute and general acts of the Fund.<\/li><\/ol>
