Project description<\/b><\/td>\nOverall objective: <\/b><\/p>\n

To establish institutional coordination to provide professional support for local self-governments in B\u0430\u010dka with the aim of enhancing regional development.<\/p>\n

Specific objectives: <\/b><\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To network relevant stakeholders in regional development in the municipalities of Ba\u010dka by creating a regional network and framework for future cooperation and joint development of successful EU projects;<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To improve the municipal absorption capacities in B\u0430\u010dka;<\/p>\n

(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 To increase the institutional capacities of employees at the municipal level through training in the use of regional development programmes under IPA Component 3.<\/p>\n

Expected results:<\/b><\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Institutional framework in B\u0430\u010dka for the implementation of projects important for socio-economic development established and strengthened;<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Overall operational programme for the development of B\u0430\u010dka for the period 2012-2015 adopted;<\/p>\n

(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Offices for local economic development (LED) qualified for the preparation of IPA 3 projects for regional development – strengthening\u00a0 the absorption capacities of local self-governments;<\/p>\n

(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum three intermunicipal project ideas developed;<\/p>\n

(5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge on institutional framework for balanced regional development in compliance with the Law of the Republic of Serbia increased.<\/p>\n

Main activities: <\/b><\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Establishment of institutional framework for socio-economic development of B\u0430\u010dka by signing the European Partnership Charter;<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Preparation and adoption of overall operational programme for the development of B\u0430\u010dka;<\/p>\n

(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Training for the employees of the LED offices and departments for economy of\u00a0 B\u0430\u010dka municipalities;<\/p>\n

(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Preparation of intermunicipal project ideas;<\/p>\n

(5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Education in the enhancement of balanced regional development.<\/p>\n

Target groups:\u00a0<\/b>Persons responsible for projects in the municipal administration in B\u0430\u010dka, B\u0430\u010dka municipalities.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
