The seminar was opened by Assistant Director of the European Affairs Fund &#8211; AP Vojvodina, Gabriella Haas, who presented the SAFE project. The attendees were also addressed by the Provincial Secretary for Urbanism, Construction and Environmental Protection, Du\u0161anka Srema\u010dki, furthermore, representatives of the same Secretariat, Slobodan Puzovi\u0107, Tatjana \u0110uri\u0107 and Danica Popin, and Head of Town Administration for Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Sremska Mitrovica, Goran \u010cekerinac.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar discussed the characteristics of ambrosia, its effects on the environment and inhabitants, measures to control the population of ambrosia, as well as activities done to suppress it on the territory of AP Vojvodina, with special focus on the territory of Sremska Mitrovica.
