Mi\u0161a Vrebalov, president of Novi Be\u010dej Municipality, was the first one to address the attendees. He presented the municipality\u2019s previous experience and emphasized the necessity for continuous education of human resources in order to use the available funds adequately. Mina Radmilovi\u0107, the Fund\u2019s representative, talked about the significance of EU funds, previous experience of Republic Serbia in cross-border cooperation (CBC) programmes, examples of best practice and calls to be expected in 2012. The representatives of local authorities and public companies recognised the need for education and active participation.
