The attendees were welcomed by Milan Miri\u0107, director of RDA Srem, followed by Andrija Aleksi\u0107, European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, who explained in more details the importance of active participation of Srem municipalities in the programmes of the European Union. He also pointed out how municipalities could benefit from cooperation with the Vojvodina European Office.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the presentation, the Fund\u2019s representatives, Mina Radmilovi\u0107 and Dra\u017een Lovri\u0107 informed the attendees on European funds and Serbia\u2019s experience in previous EU programmes. Special attention was paid to the programmes which become available once obtaining the status of a candidate country for EU membership.
