The Adriatic-Ionic Transnational Programme aims to support transnational cooperation projects that strengthen economic, social and territorial cohesion in the Adriatic-Ionian region. The eligible area encompasses the territory of eight countries – 4 EU Member States (Greece, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia) and the 4 states which are in the pre-accession process (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia).<\/p>\n
The First Call for Proposals under the Interreg V b Adriatic-Ionian Transnational Programme 2014-2020 – ADRION is open as of\u00a01st\u00a0<\/sup>February 2016 and the deadline for submission of project proposals is 25th<\/sup>\u00a0March 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n ADRION programme priority axes:<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Innovative and Smart Region<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.1. Support the development of a regional innovation system for the Adriatic-Ionian area.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2. Sustainable region<\/strong><\/p>\n 2.1. Promote the sustainable valorisation and preservation of natural and cultural assets as growth assets in the Adriatic-Ionian area;<\/p>\n 2.2. Enhance the capacity in transnationally tackling environmental vulnerability, fragmentation and the safeguarding of ecosystem services in the Adriatic-Ionian area.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3. Connected region<\/strong><\/p>\n 3.1.
