Local communities are involved in the planning and execution of festivals to ensure that their needs and cultural values are respected and promoted. Alongside training and capacity-building programs for local organisers, artisans, and businesses improve their skills and participation in festival activities. EUFEAST understanding the role of culture as an integral element in sustainable development and positive societal transformation aims at mainstreaming the cultural dimension into all relevant policy areas, programmes and initiatives to respond to the need for increased synergies, to promote significance of EU values, including freedom of expression and increase employment in cultural and creative sectors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Outputs:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 47 organisations cooperating across borders,<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 policy instruments addressed,<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 11 interregional policy learning events organised,<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 18 good practices identified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Activities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 creation of an analytical framework for mapping local needs and potential,<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 mapping of local practices, analysis of results and preparation of recommendations,<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 exchange of experiences and knowledge about policy instruments (training, workshops, selection and validation of 18 good practices, analysis of best practices, revision of impact framework),<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 implementation of six regional seminars,<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 realization of three interregional project study visits,<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 organization of two local information events,<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 participation in the platform for learning about EU policies and policy instruments,<\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 procurement of ICT equipment,<\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 research and monitoring of changes and impact of project activities at the local level.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>government and regional authorities, local communities, educational institutions, tourist organizations, cultural industries, businesses, media, NGOs, tourists<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project title Festive Pathways to a Sustainable Tomorrow (EUFEAST) Sources of funding Interreg \u0415urope Project partners Lead partner: 1.
