The sixth project meeting and study visit, as a part of \u201cEnhancement of modernization, green innovations and transition of SMEs towards the sustainability through transnational cooperation, practices and tools \u2013 GREENSMES\u201c project, organized by the RRA Zeleni Kras, was held in Postojna, Slovenia.<\/p>\n

On the course of the first day, case studies of the companies experienced in green innovation were presented. Willy Stadler Ltd. presented their Test and Innovation Center focused on developing and testing advanced technologies for improved waste separation before recycling. Second case study, of companies GreenGeko Ltd., AethLabs, and Nesteh showed modern solutions for improving the quality of the working environment, including biodynamic lighting, advanced air quality monitoring and management, smart energy management, the use of greenery and natural materials, and comprehensive automation with real-time control. The third case study showed the museum\u2019s achievement of the international sustainability certificate Green Key, which reflects the museum\u2019s efforts toward efficient use of energy and resources, as well as reducing its environmental impact of the Notranjska Regional Museum Postojna.<\/p>\n

During the second day, partners visited Ljubljana, and learned about Mission 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities. The City of Ljubljana was selected among 100 European cities for this mission. Later on, partners took part in the workshop on greening their office activities and reflect on possibilities for transferring sustainable solutions into their own organizations.<\/p>\n
