Representatives of the Fund “European Affairs” of AP Vojvodinavisited on October 14, 2020, the municipality of Od\u017eaci and the municipality of Ba\u010dki Petrovac.
\nStronger direct cooperation between the representatives of local self-governments and the Fund has been agreed, although progress has been noticed in the use of European funds in the past two years. In this regard, the representatives of both municipalities pointed out the contribution of the Fund “European Affairs” of AP Vojvodina in the results achieved in terms of applying for EU funds, because the representatives of the Fund, through frequent visits and initiatives, provided adequate support.
\nSuccessful cooperation with partners from Hungary was stated, since most of the submitted and implemented projects were focused on the Interreg IPA cross-border cooperation program Hungary-Serbia. In both municipalities, there is a need for retraining called \u2019EU funding opportunities\u2019, because large number of interested staff want – through this type of education – to contribute to the development of local governments; while the representatives of the municipality of Ba\u010dki Petrovac pointed out the need for the construction of a cultural center that could be realized through EU projects with the help of the Fund.<\/p>\n
