The Interreg VI-B) Program for the Danube Region will publish the Second \r\nPublic Call for Project Proposals on October 2, 2023. \r\nThe deadline for submitting project proposals will be open until February 29, 2024.\r\nThe program will support projects focused on program priorities 1, 2 and 3, \r\nas well as on specific objective 4.2, namely:\r\n\r\n\u2022 Priority 1 \u2013 Smarter Danube region\r\n\u2022 Priority 2 \u2013 A greener Danube region with low carbon emissions\r\n\u2022 Priority 3 \u2013 Socially oriented Danube region\r\n\u2022 Priority 4 \u2013 Better management of cooperation in the Danube region:\r\no specific objective 4.2 \u2013 Strengthening of institutional capacities f\r\nor territorial and macro-regional management\r\n\r\nThe program for the Danube Region promotes economic, social and territorial \r\ncohesion in the Danube Region through the integration of policies in selected \r\nareas of action. The program provides financial support to those projects \r\nof transnational cooperation that contribute to the development \r\nof a more innovative, sustainable and more socially oriented Danube region.\r\nThe program area includes the territory of 14 countries that make \r\nup the macro-region, of which 9 are EU members: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, \r\nthe Czech Republic, Germany (Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg and Bavaria), Hungary, \r\nRomania, Slovakia and Slovenia, and 5 non-member countries. \r\nEU: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Moldova and \r\nUkraine (Chernivet Oblast, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Zakarpattia Oblast, Odesa Oblast).\r\nThis call for proposals will be conducted in a single step and will require the \r\nproposers to prepare and submit a complete application form online through the \r\nJoint Electronic Monitoring System - JEMS.\r\nThe program will allocate up to 55,051,854.53 euros for financing projects \r\nwithin the Second Call. The maximum EU contribution to project budgets is 80% \r\nof the total project budget.\r\nEach project, whose implementation is limited to a maximum of 36 \r\nmonths and whose implementation is expected to begin in January 2025, \r\nmust include at least three financial partners from three different countries \r\nof the program area: a lead partner and at least two project partners. \r\nPartners from RS can also be the leading partner in the project.\r\nThe application package and all relevant information about the call will \r\nbe available from October 2 on the program website: \r\nhttps:\/\/www.interreg-danube.eu\/\r\nYou can also download the Second Call announcement with more details \r\nfrom the program page: \r\nhttps:\/\/www.interreg-danube.eu\/dtp-archive\/about-dtp\/new-funding-2021-2027\/how-to-apply\/second-call<\/span><\/pre>\n<\/div>\n
