The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina Milan \u010ce\u017eek and Senka Bengin, together with the representatives of the Vojvodina Development Agency, Nata\u0161a Ron\u010devi\u0107 and Tijana Markovi\u0107 have visited the municipality of Novi Kne\u017eevac and Senta today.<\/p>\n

In Novi Kne\u017eevac Municipality, they had a meeting with Csilla Orosz Urb\u00e1n, assistant president of the municipality, and her associates, whereas in Senta Municipality, with Dragana Radonji\u0107 MSc, head of the Department for Economy and Local and Economic Development, and her associates.<\/p>\n

During the meetings, a more comprehensive direct cooperation between the representatives of local self-government and the Fund was agreed regarding EU funding opportunities by providing assistance in the selection and development of EU projects, as well as future training courses in the municipality of Senta by the Fund\u2019s employees aimed at all those interested from the municipality.<\/p>\n

The representatives of Novi Kne\u017eevac Municipality have planned to develop the tourism potential of the municipality, whereas the representatives of Senta Municipality presented the problems they faced \u2013 the need to reconstruct the sewage network, which could be solved by implementing EU projects and with the help of European Affairs Fund AP Vojvodina.<\/p>\n

Both municipalities are active in project writing and implementation.<\/p>\n

During the meetings, the discussion also touched upon the prospects for cooperation between the representatives of the local self-government and the Vojvodina Development Agency through the use of subsidies, as well as through the drafting of development of documents that directly concerning the public local self-government.<\/p>\n
