The representative of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Zoran Pavi\u0107, and the representatives of the Vojvodina Development Agency visited the municipality of Titel and the municipality of \u017dabalj on 27th June 2019.<\/p>\n

In the municipality of Titel, the meeting was held with Goran Stanojkovi\u0107, Head of Department for Economy and LED, and his associates, whereas in the municipality of \u017dabalj, with Simo Vasi\u0107, Head of Economy and LED, and Milorad Trgi\u0107, coordinator.<\/p>\n

Direct cooperation between the representatives of local self-governments and the Fund, as well as the Vojvodina Development Agency was agreed so as facilitate the exchange of information in order to maximize the use of EU funds and attract foreign investors. In both municipalities, there was a lack of submitted applications for EU funds and modest implementation of them. Accordingly, there was a request for the Fund to provide assistance in the implementation of projects, as well as to repeat the training courses. The representatives of the municipality of \u017dabalj pointed out the importance of the recent visit to the Vojvodina European Office in Brussels, where they received valuable information on the use of EU funds. The municipality of Titel expressed interest in the Fund\u2019s lectures held at elementary schools to raise pupils\u2019 awareness of the origin and history of the European Union.<\/p>\n

During the meetings, the discussion also touched upon the prospect for cooperation between the representatives of the local self-governments and the Vojvodina Development Agency through the use of subsidies, as well as through the drafting of development of documents that directly concerning the public local self-government.<\/p>\n
