As part of regular meetings with representatives of local self-governments in Vojvodina, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund, Milan \u010ce\u017eek and Zoran Pavi\u0107, as well as the representatives of the Development Agency of Vojvodina, \u017divko Plani\u0107 and Tanja Simi\u0107, visited the municipalities of \u010coka and Kanji\u017ea on 6 December 2018.
\nIn \u010coka, their hosts were Stana Gy\u00f6mb\u00e9r, president of the municipality, and Mihajlo Popovi\u0107, assistant president of the municipality.
\nAt the request of the municipal leaders, an agreement was made to hold the training course “EU Funding Opportunities” in due time to train the participants in EU fund management and individual development of project proposals, so that they could position them strategically within defined priorities and measures.
\nIn Kanji\u017ea, their hosts were R\u00f3bert Fejszt\u00e1mer, president of the municipality, and Korn\u00e9lia Fejszt\u00e1mer, head of department, and their associates.
\nThe municipality of Kanji\u017ea, as one of the leading municipalities in application submission and EU project implementation, was interested in helping other local governments which were in need of enhancing their participation in future calls under the Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes.
\nAn agreement was made to enhance the direct cooperation between the representatives of local self-governments with the European Affairs Fund and the Vojvodina Development Agency so that the municipalities could be better informed about modern trends, calls and tools that could help them, on the one hand, attract foreign investments and on the other hand, maximize the use of EU funds.<\/p>\n
