The conference was opened by Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations. The introductory panel &#8220;The Next Generation of the New EU Member States&#8221; was attended by Karl-Heinz Lambertz, President of the European Committee of the Regions, Harald Preuner, Deputy Mayor of Salzburg, Wilfried Haslauer, President of the Federal State of Salzburg, Jadranka Joksimovi\u0107, Minister for European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the Ministers of European Integration of Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Macedonia.<\/p>\n<p>During the conference, the panel discussions &#8220;How to keep Rural Areas attractive for Future Generations&#8221;, &#8220;The Next Generation of Renewable Energy&#8221; and &#8220;Start-ups in the Regions- the Future for the Young Generation&#8221; were held, at which the lecturers were eminent experts from the world of politics, journalism, education and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p>During the conference, Vidosava Enderi\u0107, Director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, met with Pof.
