The employees of the European Affairs Fund of<\/p>\n<p>The Secondary School of Economics \u201c9. maj\u201c of Sremska Mitrovica has recognised the importance of EU funds as a method of institutional capacity building. The employees of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina held a three-day training course under the title \u201cProspects of Financing through EU Funds\u201c from 26th to 28th March 2014. The course attendees were the teachers of the Secondary School of Economics.<\/p>\n<p>During the training, the participants could obtain information about the structure and manner of application under the IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme available to institutions of AP Vojvodina. Moreover, the EU Programme \u201cErasmus+\u201c, available to educational institutions from Serbia, and to be ongoing in the seven-year period from 2014 to 2020, was presented. In the practical part of the training, the attendees developed their project ideas related to the enhancement of the educational profile &#8211; tourist technician, increase in pupils\u2019 knowledge about the start-up of one\u2019s own business, as well as improvement of teaching by introducing innovative programmes and equipping the premises.
