The attendees were also addressed by the representatives of the Provincial Secretariat for Urban Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection, City of Sombor and Local Government of Baja. The seminar discussed the characteristics of ambrosia, its effects on the environment and inhabitants, as well as activities done to suppress it on the territory of AP Vojvodina and B\u00e1cs-Kiskun County. A special emphasis was put on the legal regulations regarding the suppression and eradication of ambrosia, whereby a comparative analysis on the topic in the cross-border area was done.
