The purpose of the Fund is promotion of development and cooperation between member states and cooperation with countries to access the EU.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFunds available from the Visegrad Fund since 2010 are 6 million Euros and they will be aimed at projects related to cultural cooperation, scientific exchange and research, education, cross-border cooperation, youth exchange and promotion of tourism. Project applicants may be NGOs, municipalities, local and regional administrative bodies, schools, universities and private companies.
