In the period from October 10 to October 12, 2023, the 21st European \r\nWeek of Regions and Cities 2023 was held in Brussels.\r\nThe AP Vojvodina delegation - led by the Undersecretary for Regional Development, \r\nInterregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government, Aleksandra Sitarevi\u0107, and \r\nincluding the director of the \"European Affairs\" Fund, Ognjen Dopu\u0111, as well as \r\nthe assistant directors of the \"European Affairs\" Fund, Kristina Ba\u0161i\u0107 and \r\nIvana \u0110urica - she participated in the meeting held on October 10 in the\r\n premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Kingdom of Belgium, \r\nwhich was attended by: the representative of the Republic of Srpska in Brussels \r\nNemanja Mali\u0107, Marko Mandi\u0107 from CEFTA, Marko Petrovi\u0107 from the \r\nSerbian Chamber of Commerce in Brussels, representatives of the \r\nMission of BiH to the EU Igor Lincer, Olivera Nikoli\u0107 and Jasna Martin\u010devi\u0107, \r\nrepresentative of the Ministry of Finance in the Mission of the RS to the \r\nEU Uro\u0161 Stojanovi\u0107 and representative of the Embassy of the RS to the \r\nKingdom of Belgium Vladimir Rado\u0161evi\u0107. The meeting discussed the possibilities \r\nof cooperation of Vojvodina, as a region, with other actors at the regional \r\nlevel that have their representative offices in Brussels.\r\n \"The office of AP Vojvodina in Brussels, together with other \r\nrepresentative offices of our institutions in Brussels, provides selfless support \r\nto institutions in the country with the aim of regional connection and regional \r\ncooperation,\" said the director of the \"European Affairs\" Fund, Ognjen Dopu\u0111.\r\n<\/span><\/pre>\n

The delegation also held a working meeting with representatives of the \r\nAP Vojvodina office in Brussels, as well as a meeting in the building of the \r\nRS Mission to the EU, where AP Vojvodina was promoted and presented in \r\norder to network with potential EU partners - representatives of EU institutions, \r\nrepresentatives of regional chambers of commerce, as well as with experts \r\nfor projects and programs financed by the EU. The meeting was attended by the \r\ngeneral manager of Connect International Jelena Spasovi\u0107, human rights expert \r\nof the Conference of European Churches Elizabeta Kitanovi\u0107, as well as the \r\nrepresentative of the Serbian Club Krug from Brussels, Radmila Van Os. \r\nDirector of the \"European Affairs\" Fund, Ognjen Dopu\u0111, referred to the \r\npossibilities of institutions from Serbia and AP Vojvodina to cooperate \r\nwith institutions from the EU.\r\n\r\n\"All institutions from Vojvodina, FEP will connect with institutions from the EU \r\nin order to participate in projects and programs financed by the EU, but also in \r\norder to improve other types of cooperation, such as economic, cultural, \r\neducational, etc.,\" Dopu\u0111 said.\r\nThis year, Vojvodina hosted two workshops as part of the European Week of Regions \r\nand Cities in 2023. In the framework of the workshop \"How local and regional \r\nauthorities encourage behavioral change in the energy sector\", the latest \r\nknowledge in the field of energy policy was presented. Ideas and strategies \r\nfor overcoming the challenges of decarbonization in the energy sector were \r\nexchanged and concrete examples of solutions were presented with the aim of \r\nchanging behavior and realizing the energy transition. A promo film from \r\nthe project \"Exploitation of various sources in the production of \"green\" \r\nenergy - X DEGREE\" was also presented. As part of the workshop \r\n\"Breaking down barriers in tourism: cross-border cooperation at external borders\",\r\n various ideas were presented with the aim of reducing and eliminating obstacles in \r\nthe implementation of cross-border tourism cooperation at the external borders \r\nof the EU and regions and countries that are part of the EU Instrument for \r\nPre-Accession Assistance (IPA). as well as opportunities for cooperation, \r\nwith examples of good practice.<\/span><\/pre>\n<\/div>\n
