A closing conference of Exploitation of Different Energy Sources for Green Energy Production \u2013 X DEGREE project was held on 13 January 2020 in Vinkovci. Project partners presented the results of the project at the conference. Prof. Filip Kuli\u0107 Ph.D, Project Manager, spoke on behalf of the University of Novi Sad about the importance of renewable energy sources and about the mobile laboratory for analysis of silage samples for obtaining biogas, which was purchased from the project. Assistant professor Branimir \u0160imi\u0107 Ph.D, spoke on behalf of the Agricultural Institute from Osijek, about the importance of the choice of hybrid in application of the agro technique in production of corn used for biogas production. On behalf of Vinkovci Water Supply and Sewerage Ltd, Valentin \u017dderi\u0107 talked about the photovoltaic power plants in water supply, purchased from the project. Jasmina Bobi\u0107, the Director of Public Utility Company \u201cVodokanal\u201d from Sombor, spoke about the expansion of capacity of biogas plant in Sombor.
\nA round table on application of renewable energy sources in water utility companies \u2013solar and photovoltaic systems was held on 14 January 2020.<\/p>\n

The European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, as a partner on the project was responsible for PR and admistrative affairs. The main objective of the X-Degree project was to promote and improve the use of various forms of renewable energy sources in the cross-border area, while the specific, realized objectives were: to increase the energy independence of public utility companies using renewable energy sources; better use of biomass in biogas plants, as well as raising public awareness of energy potential from renewable energy sources in cross-border regions.<\/p>\n
