Innovative Solutions for Enhancing Beekeeping Processes and Modernizing Support in Apiculture in cross border region of CRO and SRB (INNOBEE)

Main objective:

To improve the sustainability and competitiveness of the beekeeping sector in the cross-border region of Croatia and Serbia by implementing innovative solutions and strengthening collaboration between beekeepers and research institutions, to enhance the resilience, vitality, and productivity of bee populations.

Outputs:

1.       Piloted innovative summer and winter treatments,

2.       Innovative beekeeping technology developed,

3.       Project partners cooperating in cross-border project.

Activities:

1.       Develoment of protocol for innovative treatments in beekeeping,

2.       Pilot action – Implementation of innovative summer and winter treatments,

3.       Development of Guideline for beekeepers on innovative summer and winter treatments,

4.       Establishement of joint Cross-border center for apiculture support,

5.       Educational workshops for beekeepers,

6.       Development of mobile app for monitoring and disseminating data,

7.       Public awareness raising and promotional activities.

Target groups:

Higher education and research organisations, SMEs, entrepreneurs in the beekeeping sector, beekeeping cooperatives, sectoral agencies, umbrella organizations (unions of beekeeping organizations, federation/associations of beekeepers), agricultural schools in West-Bačka, South-Bačka and Srem districts in Serbia, regional chambers, regional public authorities, the general public.
