Vidosava Enderić, Director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, attended the event to mark the 30th anniversary of the launch of the Jean Monnet initiative, part of the EU programme – Erasmus+, which promotes excellence in lectures and scientific research in the field of EU studies. The activities of the Jean Monnet initiative also encourage dialogue between the academic world and policy makers, in particular with a view to improve EU policy management.
As part of the celebration of the anniversary, which is held all over Europe in the month of May, H.E. Sem Fabrizi, Ambassador and Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, gave a speech at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad.
There was a debate on the topic “EU integration of Serbia and the region of the Western Balkans” with the students, who showed great interest in our European future.
The University Business Academy in Novi Sad, a long-term partner of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, implemented the Jean Monnet module, i.e. a series of activities at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels, with aim of promoting high EU standards and fostering dialogue between the academic public, political decision-makers and civil society.
