Project description Main objective:
To support the evolution of port areas into Innovation Hubs, and to create the Innovation Hubs Network, devoted to joint cooperation and development

Specific objective:
1. PoWER Road Map for the evolution of ports into Innovation
Hubs
2. PoWER methodology for building Innovation Supply Chains
3. PoWER Platform for supporting a transnational long-term
cooperation environment

Main activities:
1.    Co-creation of energy-oriented needs maps
2.    Entrepreneurial gaming and scouting
3.    Scenarios foresight
4.    Communication
5.    Management

Main results:
1.    Creation of the transnational Innovation Hubs Network, characterized a clear structure and mission,
2.    Construction of local networks among the key innovation actors, based on the activities carried out in the case-studies within port areas,
3.    Definition of a long-term institutional and strategic framework, for guaranteeing the effective transnational involvement of the actors in the evolution of ports into Innovation Hubs.

Target groups:

Local, regional and national public authorities, institutions of higher education, research institutes, education/training centres and schools, enterprises, SMEs, business support organisations, international organisation under national/international law, interest groups including NGOs, general public, representatives of European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) / European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC).
