Invitation to a workshop entitled Integrating green innovation support measures into standard operating procedures and public policies within the GreenSMSes project
Invitation to the workshop entitled: “Integrating Green Innovation Support Measures into Standard Operating Procedures and Public Policies” organized within the framework of the EU project GreenSMSes, funded by the Adrion Program 2021-2027.
We invite business support organizations (BSOs), organizations for the development and integration of green innovation support measures, non-governmental organizations, regional development agencies, business incubators and all other interested stakeholders to participate in the workshop.
Business support organizations play a key role in the green transition of the economy. They are the link between the increasing demands of the market and regulatory frameworks, on the one hand, and the thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises that face these changes every day, on the other.
To successfully fulfill this role, BSO organizations themselves must integrate green innovation and technology transfer into their operational procedures, support programs and public policies. This involves changes in strategy, organizational structure, capacities and the way they deliver services. This process is not a one-time process, but requires a careful and comprehensive approach.
The readiness of a BSO organization for the green transition is reflected in three key aspects that must function in parallel: the internal organizational setup to work on this topic, the type and quality of services provided to small and medium-sized enterprises, and the ability to demonstrate results and secure funds for business continuity.
Through a guided self-assessment and group discussion, participants will gain a clearer picture of their organizations’ current capacities, as well as priority areas for further development.
The workshop represents the first step in a process that continues through the possibility of individual expert support in developing an action plan, as well as through inclusion in the transnational GreenSMeS network of business support organizations.
Registration is mandatory.
