Training course “EU Funding Opportunities” held at the General Hospital “Dr Radivoj Simonović“ in Sombor
At the invitation of the General Hospital “Dr Radivoj Simonović” of Sombor, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Čarna Zeljković and Jovana Kontić have held a three-day training course “EU funding Opportunities”. At the beginning, on behalf of the hospital, Dr. Dejan Milinković, Assistant Director, who welcomed all participants, underlined the importance of cross-border cooperation through project development and wished a successful training course.
The participants were informed about the instruments for pre-accession assistance and internal programmes of the European Union funder from the joint EU budget, in which Serbia is entitled to participate because of its status as a candidate country for EU membership. The practical part of the training involved building the participants’ skills to enable them to formulate project proposals on their own, think about potential partner organizations, develop the project structure by means of the logical framework and prepare the project budget. As a result, 23 participants, divided into groups, developed 4 project ideas, which may be potential proposals to submit under the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes.
