Creative Europe Forum 2017
Creative Europe Forum 2017, held from 19th to 21st April 2017, is an international conference of the Creative Europe Desk Serbia dedicated to promoting the Creative Europe programme and the topic of regional cooperation as a strategy of European cultural development. The Forum traditionally lasts for three days and is held at five different locations in Belgrade. The audience, which moved to a different location each hour, was composed of foreign partners and experts, regional Desk members, prominent experts in culture and other visitors. During the first day, the presentation involved the experience of other Desk colleagues from the neighbouring countries, along with examples of good practice in different segments, such as co-production, audience development, digitalization and mobility.
Since the topic of this year’s event focused on regional cooperation, Mina Radmilović Pjevac, representative of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina and member of Creative Europe project team, participated in the panel discussion about the EU funds and IPA. The topic of the panel discussion was Micro-regional European Cooperation, and other speakers at the panel were representatives of the civil sector Violeta Kačakova, “Lokomotiva” from Skopje, Fahrudin Kladničanin, Academic initiative Forum 10 from Novi Pazar and Miroslav Tamburić, “Forca” from Požega, being the moderator. Each of the speakers contributed to the attractiveness of the panel with their experience, and a number of questions and a concert at the Cultural Centre Grad marked the end of the second day of the Forum.
On the third day, students of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Department for Management and Production in Theatre, Radio and Culture organized a workshop for students of faculties of arts and social sciences (especially economics) on the topic of strategic planning of local cultural development. In the first part of the workshop, the students presented the model for development of Pčinj County, based on the development of fashion industry, women’s entrepreneurship and local craftsmanship, and the workshop participants worked on the development of strategic analysis and plans for economic and cultural development of a selected region of Serbia.
