Continuation of cooperation with partners from regional offices on the implementation of European projects

Vidosava Enderić, Director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, and Srđan Mačkić, Head of Vojvodina European Office in Brussels, have met today in Brussels with the Croatian and Slovenian regional representatives: Viktor Kovačič, Slovenian Business and Research Association, Zvonka Gverić, Croatian Regions Office, and Hrvoje Bugatin, Regional Development Agency of Dubrovnik Neretva Region, with whom they discussed the modalities of future cooperation.

During the meeting, the partners were informed about the new structure and priorities of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, and special emphasis was placed on the servicing, creation and development of projects under the EU programmes available to Serbia. The discussion touched upon the possibilities for the use of European platforms for the exchange of ideas and projects, further work on submitting applications under the EU programmes, in addition to the existing mechanisms that are funded under the cross-border and transnational cooperation programmes, as well as the possibility of organising joint tourism and economic events.

The regional representatives underline that the work on the development of the Cohesion Policy beyond 2020 will also be important in the coming period, which is implemented in both EU Member States at the central level.

The cooperation of AP Vojvodina has traditionally been developed with the counties of Osijek-Baranja and Vukovar-Srijem, predominantly in the sphere of cross-border cooperation project implementation.
