Presentation of the 2016 European Commission Report on Serbia

The 2016 European Commission Report on Serbia was presented at the Business Incubator Novi Sad on 24 November 2016.

The European Commission Report was presented by the Noora Hayrinen, Head of the Political Section, who indicated that there are new elements in this year’s Report, that in addition to the level of progress, the current situation in Serbia regarding the political and economic criteria for the accession to the European community is also involved. Hayrinen said that in 18-months’ time a new report will follow and that the Government will present to the European Commission the implementation plans, which will be able to be monitored.

The event was organised by the EU Info Point Novi Sad, and the participants of the panel discussion were Nebojša Vojnović, Undersecretary of the Provincial Secretariat for Regional Development, Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government, Ivana Sabo, Business Incubator Novi Sad, Milan Stojanov, Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, Vojin Šenk, professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, whereas the moderator was Andrija Aleksić, European Affair Fund of AP Vojvodina.
