Training course in European project development in Žabalj

At the invitation of the representatives of Žabalj Municipality, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina have held a tree-day training course under the title “Prospects of Financing through EU Funds” at the Fund for Agricultural Development of Žabalj Municipality. The participants in the lectures were comprised of representatives of the financial sector of Žabalj Municipality, furthermore educational institutions, public utility companies, municipal tourist organisation, as well as employees of the Fund for Agricultural Development.

In the course of three days, the participants could learn something more about the EU funds being at the disposal of beneficiaries from AP Vojvodina, moreover, gain insight into the application procedure for European funds. The preparation of EU projects was covered at interactive workshops, so that the participants could gain hands-on experience in writing and developing certain parts of project application. The goal of the training was to equip participants with certain knowledge and skills, so that they could develop projects on their own, in compliance with EU requirements, in the future. Thus, the attendees were informed about the tools and steps in project proposal development, such as problem tree, objective tree, logical framework, etc. The project budgeting, application and evaluation were presented on the last day.
