Fund cooperates with municipalities from Central Serbia

In order to strengthen regional cooperation and balanced regional development in the process of EU accession, the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina has organised a visit of municipal representatives of Despotovac and Svilajnac.

At the meeting held in Novi Sad, the discussion touched upon the possibility of transferring Vojvodina’s positive experience regarding regional cooperation and use of European funds, presenting the economic and administrative capacities of Svilajnac in Brussels with the help of Vojvodina European Office, as well as involving a comprehensive capacity building for the use of EU development programmes. In the past 5 years more than 250 different projects, funded from EU funds in different areas, have been realised in Vojvodina. “Our wish is to transfer all positive experience to the rest of the country, as well as to maximise the use of funds that will be available to us in the years ahead”, said Andrija Aleksić of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina at the meeting.
