Training in development of European projects in Sremski Karlovci

A training course under the title “Prospects of Financing through EU Funds” has been completed successfully in Sremski Karlovci. The course was held by the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina and it was aimed at the employees of municipality of Sremski Karlovci. The first part of the training course was performed from 5 to 7 November, whereas the second part on 19 and 20 November 2012. Within interactive workshops, the attendees were informed about the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA), cross-border cooperation programmes, logical matrix as an instrument of logical framework, basic principles of budgeting EU funded projects, application forms, additional documentation, as well as evaluation and selection of project proposals. The main goal of the training was to provide participants with knowledge and skills necessary for taking a more active role in the use of EU pre-accession funds to be able to develop project proposals on their own.
