Seminar on EU funds in Vrbas

A seminar under the title “Prospects of Financing through EU Funds”, organised by the European Affairs Fund-AP Vojvodina, has been held in Vrbas Municipality. The meeting was attended by representatives of local self-government, public companies and institutions on the territory of Vrbas, Kula and Mali Iđoš. The representatives of the European Affairs Fund-AP Vojvodina, Mina Radmilović informed the participants on EU funding rules with reference to the new programming period 2014-2020. She emphasised the importance of cooperation between municipalities and local communities, on the one hand, and on the other hand, the Fund, Provincial Secretariat for Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government and accredited regional development agencies: Srem, Banat and Bačka in order to define priorities and create development strategies similar to European ones. The participants were also presented with the options that Vöjvodina European Office in Brussels offered and the first issue of Vojvodina WORLD“ newsletter.
