Cooperation on European projects with Sremska Mitrovica

At the invitation of the municipality of Sremska Mitrovica, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Mina Radmilović and Andrija Aleksić have paid a visit to the town and talked about the importance of European funds and prospects of obtaining EU funding for successful projects. The attendees were first addressed by the president of Town Assembly, Aleksandar Prodanović, who presented the town’s ongoing projects and emphasized the necessity for the participation of the town and whole Srem District in EU projects. Mina Radmilović held a presentation to the representatives of town administration, institutions, NGOs and citizens’ associations from the territory of the town. A retrospection of previous events, as well as plans for future development of institutions, municipalities and towns by means of European funds were made.

The necessity for education and need for active participation were recognised by the representatives of the town, public companies, neighbouring local communities, schools and other associations. After that, future cooperation between the town of Sremska Mitrovica and European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina was discussed.
