On EU Funds in Kovin

A presentation about IPA and prospects of financing through EU Funds was held in organisation of European Affairs Fund-AP Vojvodina. Slavko Branković president of the municipality was the first one to address the audience and he emphasized significance of European projects for Municipality of Kovin and highlighted an example of successful CBC with sister region New Moldava, Romania.

Mina Radmilović, European Affairs Fund representative, explained the importance of EU Funds. Moreover, she informed present audience about the current Call from CBC Serbia-Romania, that will be available for Kovin Municipality from June. Recently open Call provides the opportunity for financing the projects in the field of socio-economic development and the projects focused on water management and waterways, up to € 2.000.000. Necessity for education and need for active participation was recognised by the representatives from local self-government, public institutions, local communities, Red Cross Kovin, schools etc.
