New topics for cooperation between Vojvodina and Styria

The delegation of AP Vojvodina, involving representatives of the European Affairs Fund-AP Vojvodina, has paid a working visit to Graz, at the invitation of the Government of the Austrian Province of Styria.

Andrija Aleksić, Head of European Fund Department of European Affairs Fund-AP Vojvodina, had a meeting with Sabine Zimmermann, Head of Department for CBC Programmes and Transnational Territorial Cooperation.

“The meeting with my colleague, Ms. Zimmermann will be a starting point for a new era of cooperation with Styria, placing stress on the creation of joint projects between our institutions. The focus will be on projects, to be financed from EU programmes, and some of the priorities will be the strengthening of our institutional capacities in the process of EU accession, education, tourism development and environmental protection, competitiveness and employment. The interest of our province to use all the advantages of EU accession and in that sense we should strengthen our existing relations with partners across Europe, and start new initiatives”, said Aleksić.
