Computer course for senior citizens started at the Office for European Affairs
Today senior citizens residing at the Novi Sad Old People’s Home attended their first class in computers, organized by the Office for European Affairs, in which they obtained basic information on computer usage. ”I am delighted with the enthusiasm with which our new students approached the course. Some of them have already used a typewriter in their work, while some have not. Therefore, we have learnt some basic computer operations today”, said Jovana Pereula, Office for European Affairs, who is running the course.
The senior citizens also expressed their interest in English language learning, which could help them in computer usage and in communication on the Internet, since some of them already communicate with their relatives abroad.
