Office for European Affairs and jazz together in Udine within the project “In the Sounds of Places”

Upon cooperation established between the Office for European Affairs, Executive Council of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Italian regions and institutions, musicians from Vojvodina participated in the international project “In the Sounds of Places” (“Nei Suoni dei Luoghi”), realized through the “Associazione progetto musica“ Institution, which was founded by Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region. An international music festival was organized in the picturesque Italian town of Treppo Grande, as a part of the above mentioned project, and on that occasion, the “Vladimir Stanković Ethno Jazz Band“ from Novi Sad held a concert.

“In my opinion, music is an extremely important bond that connects people. Therefore, it is very important that culture workers present our country and province in the best possible way, and for that reason the Office for European Affairs is there to provide support for such processes and hence contribute to further Europeisation of our country“ – said Ivana Lekić, Office for European Affairs in her conversation with the organizers.
