Autonomous Province of Vojvodina this year again at the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels
The European Commission and the Committee of the Regions – organisers of the 18th European Week of Regions and Cities – have announced that the application of AP Vojvodina and its partners to participate in this week, which will be held from 12 to 15 October 2020 in Brussels, has been accepted. AP Vojvodina has traditionally used the opportunity to present the results achieved in various fields at this largest regional event in Europe.
This year’s theme, within which AP Vojvodina will present its policies and results, is “Green Europe”, i.e. the accepted regional partnership will present green policies and projects in the fields of environmental protection, combating the negative effects of climate change, biodiversity, bioeconomy and others.
AP Vojvodina is proud to announce that a partnership has been concluded for the 18th EWRC with the following regions and cities: Autonomous Province of Bozen/Bolzano, South Tyrol; Carinthia (Austria); Venetto; Marche; Lazio; Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Italy); Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship (Poland); Nordland County (Norway); Côtes du Rhône (France); Castile La Mancha (Spain) and the Regional Agency (Greece).
Taking into account the new epidemiological situation, caused by the Covid-19 virus, the organisers will announce in the following period in what format the upcoming EWRC will be held. Accordingly, the registration for participation will be opened after the assessment of the health situation in Belgium.
