The European Youth Capital is a title that the European Youth Forum awards to one European city for a period of one year. The process is designed to empower young people, increase their participation in important social processes and strengthen European identity at the local level.

The European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, having recognized the importance and role of young people in policy making, provided support to OPENS in organizing the “Regions and Cities for Youth” workshop during this year’s edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels, and in that way contributed to the improvement of young people’s position and presentation of Novi Sad, as the European Youth Capital, to our European partners.
