At the beginning, the participants were informed about the programmes available to the Republic of Serbia, as well as the programmes to which institutions from AP Vojvodina were eligible to apply. Then, the participants were divided into groups, so that, in addition to the theoretical part, they could gain hands-on experience in EU projects. It was followed by focusing on a document of great importance what facilitates project development – the logical matrix. During the exercise, the participants filled in the logical matrix in accordance with their project idea proposals they developed during the training. At the end of the training, the focus was put on the budget, an issue that usually generated the number of participants’ questions. After a well-mastered exercise in budgeting, two project ideas were developed which the participants could submit as applications under the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Hungary-Serbia and the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Serbia-Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the end of the training course, the participants were awarded certificates of successfully training completion.
