A training course on EU funds for employees in culture

On the basis of the signed Agreement on Business and Technical Cooperation with the “Novi Sad 2021” Foundation, and given the fact that Novi Sad was declared the European Capital of Culture 2021, the representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina held a three-day training course for the employees of institutions of culture of the city of Novi Sad at the Egység Cultural Station last week.
Mina Radmilović Pjevac and Dejana Dobrić, representatives of the European Affairs Fund, informed the participants about the INTERREG IPA cross-border cooperation programs for which they are entitled to apply, as well as the European Union programmes that are also available to the whole Republic of Serbia, and thus to the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
The aim of the training was to enable participants to formulate their own project proposals towards the EU funds, to teach them to position their applications strategically within defined priorities and measures, as well as financial constraints. Within the exercise, the participants developed three project ideas which they can submit as applications under the INTERREG IPA cross-border cooperation programs Hungary – Serbia. At the end of the training course, they were awarded certificates of successful completion of the training.
