| Project description | Aviator project aims to increase the resilience of birds of prey populations in the Danube region and support their adaptation and protection against climate change. This will be achieved by developing and testing coordinated, harmonized measures across transnational ecological regions to mitigate the negative impacts of infectious and parasitic diseases on these populations, while also reducing adverse effects on biodiversity and contributing to the protection of species.
Main Activities:
1. Project setup and preparatory activities for analysis of the framework; 2. Assessing the current status of protection of birds of prey in the DR and engagement of the stakeholders at the local level; 3. Creating and operating the digital platform for knowledge sharing, monitoring, control and disease prevention activities within the bird of prey population in the Danube region.
