The First Regional Stakeholder Seminar was held within the project “Festival Pathways to a Sustainable Future – EUFEAST”
On Thursday, April 30, the first Regional Stakeholder Seminar was held within the project “Festival Pathways to a Sustainable Future – EUFEAST”, organized by the Fund for European Affairs and Development of AP Vojvodina, who is a member of the project. This seminar was held in the premises of Science Technology Park Novi Sad.
Representatives of various stakeholders gathered at the seminar to exchange information and experiences on the role of festivals in regional development and ways to improve them. During the meeting, participants discussed the results of the mapping of the festival scene in Vojvodina, identified key challenges and potentials, and jointly validated the findings through an open dialogue.
A special focus was given to the exchange of knowledge on festival management, their financial and environmental sustainability, as well as opportunities for strengthening cooperation through internationalization and innovation. The seminar served as a platform for connecting stakeholders and agreeing on next steps in order to improve the quality of festivals and their contribution to sustainable community development.
This time, the seminar was attended by representatives of the PS for Regional Development, Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government; the PS for Culture, Public Information and Relations with Religious Communities; the Tourist Organizations of Vojvodina, City of Novi Sad, City of Subotica; the Foundation “Novi Sad European Capital of Culture”, the Folklore Festival of Vojvodina Hungarians, the City Secretariat for Culture of the City of Novi Sad and from many other cultural and festival institutions.

The EUFEAST project is implemented by the Fund for European Affairs and Development of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina along with partners from seven other countries.
