The training course “EU Funding Opportunities” within the work practice of students from the Faculty of Economics

The training course “EU Funding Opportunities” was held for the second group of students from Faculty of Economics in Subotica, University of Novi Sad, from the Study Program for European and International Economics and Business, who had a work practice at the European Affairs Fund APV.

Representatives of the Fund held a three-day training course in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina, where after the theoretical introduction, that was also part of the students’ work practice, on the topic of pre-accession funds available to the Republic of Serbia, cross-border cooperation programs, transnational programs and other EU programs (such as the Erasmus + program), emphasized the practical skills of writing a project proposal that could be applied for a grant. Using a logical framework approach and a logical matrix, general and specific objectives, activities and results, indicators and sources of verification, as well as assumptions and risks of the project proposal were defined. On the last day, the students got acquainted with the budgeting of activities, which they practically mastered through practice. At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates.
