Association of Preschool Teachers of Vojvodina on a training course on EU project development

The representatives of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina, Čarna Zeljković and Jano Puškar have held a three-day training course “EU Funding Opportunities“ for the employees of educational institutions of Vojvodina. The training was held at the Preschool Teacher Training College – Novi Sad from 27th to 29th January 2016, for 24 teachers and associates from different preschools of Vojvodina.

During the training, the participants learned about the opportunities offered by the European programmes with a focus on education. The presentation involved the programme Interreg IPA CBC Programmes, a special EU instrument aimed at the states in the process of accession to the European Union. Moreover, the participants were also informed about the EU programmes and funds available for institutions from the Republic of Serbia, educational institutions in particular, with a special emphasis on Erasmus+, the EU program covering education, training, youth and sport, and the programme Europe for Citizens, open for applications by civil society organizations and units of local authority.

 

In the second training session, the participants were divided in groups, when the gained hands-on experience in EU project development by formulating the project elements and filling in the logical framework, and as the result four project ideas were developed. The participants expressed great interest in the CBC programmes with the EU Member States, such as the programme Interreg IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia and the programme Interreg IPA CBC Romania-Serbia, i.e. exchange of experience and work quality improvement through examples of best practice and cooperation with educational institutions from those countries. On the last day, the budgeting of EU projects and the structure of the application form, mainly used in CBC programmes, were presented.
