Ambassador of the Republic of Italy has paid a visit to the provincial institutions at the Master Centre
Novi Sad, 13 December – The Ambassador of Italy, Alessandro Merola has paid a visit to the provincial institutions situated at the Master Centre of the Novi Sad Fair. The participants in the meeting were Predrag Novikov, Director of the Office for European Affairs, Mihailo Brkić, Director of Vojvodina Development Fund, Goran Vasić, Director of the Guarantee Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Milica Vračarić, Director of Alma Mons, Ranko Dangubić, Assistant to the Director of the Capital Investment Fund of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and Aleksandar Stojkov, Assistant to the Director of Vojvodina Investment Promotion Fund.
Mihailo Brkić presented the credit lines issued to small- and medium-sized enterprises, whereas Goran Vasić explained the significance of the credit for the procurement of new agricultural machinery. Milica Vračarić and Aleksandar Stojkov emphasized the importance of support to small and medium enterprise as an instrument for attracting foreign investment.
Ambassador Merola pointed out the readiness of Italian companies to participate in the reconstruction of the communal sector, as well as the Italian Government’s plan to open another credit line within which local administration could also apply for credits.
