Vojvodina at the European Summit in Prague

At the invitation of the Committee of the Regions, Predrag Novikov, Director of the Office for European Affairs, and Milan Čežek, Assistant of the Provincial Secretariat for Energy and Mineral Resources, will be participating in the European Summit of Regions and Cities in Prague. This year’s Summit will gather more that 600 representatives of institutions all over Europe and this session of the European Parliament, probably for the last time before the elections in June.

The participants in the Summit will be José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission¸ Danuta Hübner, European Commissioner for Regional Policy, Mirek Topolánek, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Luc Van den Brande, President of the Committee of the Regions, Pavel Bém, Mayor of the Capital City of Prague, a great number of members of the European Parliament and members of parliaments of Member States of the EU. Predrag Novikov is expected to meet with the members of the Conference of European Regions with Legislative Powers (REGLEG) in Prague. During their stay in Prague, the delegation of the Executive Council of AP Vojvodina will also pay a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Check Republic, with whom our delegation’s detailed visit has been coordinated.
