Vojvodina expects a lot from the European regions network regarding the realization of projects in the field of research and development

Vidosava Enderic, Director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina and Srđan Mačkić, new Head of the Vojvodina European Office in Brussels, have met today in Brussels with Richard Tuffs, Director of the European Regions Research & Innovation Network (ERRIN), and talked about the possibility of Vojvodina joining the largest network for research and development in Brussels that garthers a hundred and twenty regions.

“Vojvodina expects a lot of projects in the field of research and development, and our goal is to implement ideas that will bring a long-term development of the Province and realization of large-scale strategic projects and in this regard, it will define its priorities for work in the future”, said the director Enderic.

As comparative advantages, Tuffs underlined that ERRIN allows members to meet and impact the EU policies from the regional perspective, and fundamentally important work on shaping the future of Cohesion Policy after 2020 is expected in the course of next year. As a convenience, the network allows its members to present themselves and make themselves more visible in Brussels, and the main goal is to create partnerships and project proposals with other European regions through thematic working groups, as well as the submission of applications under HORIZON 2020 and the other EU programs.
